We have an installed base of approximately 750 000 fleet management and vehicle tracking units actively aiding businesses in the reduction of their carbon footprint worldwide. MiX Telematics UK Limited comprises three sites.
- Birmingham Business Park - manages the business as a whole
- Wiltshire House in Swindon - supports our network customer base
- Our “One Stop Shop” vehicle conversion centre in Birmingham provides bespoke vehicle conversion solutions

In line with our commitments all other local and global matters potentially affected by our business activities are considered. We have an Environmental Management System that documents and helps to control our activities. Our legal requirements, and aspects and impacts registers are maintained to ensure that information contained therein remains accurate and relevant to the scope of our business.
The legal requirements register published within the Environmental Management System when combined with the training of employees ensures that we are all equipped and aware of activities within the scope of our roles that may impact on the environment.
Our key environmental objectives reflect our commitment to continual improvement. Assurance that we monitor, control and improve in areas of environmental impact highlighted as significant is driven by executive management and rolled out to staff as depicted in the Environmental Management System and Organisation Chart.
Our initial key objectives will ensure:
- A reduction in paper usage and waste across MiX Telematics UK
- A reduction of electricity usage across MiX Telematics UK
- A reduction in carbon emissions linked with MiX Telematics UK company vehicle usage
Implementation of BS EN ISO 14001:2004 will ensure the consistency and continual improvement of our Environmental Management System. Certification to this standard and maintenance of incorporated systems will ensure that MiX Telematics receives just recognition as a caring company that takes full responsibility for the impacts of its actions both locally and globally.
