At the heart of every Fleet Manager solution lies a sophisticated on-board data capture computer. Utilising state-of-the-art technology in a unit which is both durable and reliable, data is gathered from the vehicle's CAN-bus system and downloaded or transmitted back to base using GPRS data communications.

Our web-based software is then used to interpret this data and generate the reports you require.

DataTrak

MiX Telematics' DataTrak system is a simple-to-use vehicle tracking solution providing essential information on location, speed, direction, position and status of fleet vehicles. The system incorporates a latest-generation GPRS locator and reports via a web-based application, DataTrak Online, which provides a suite of reports with vehicle position data overlaid onto mapping. In addition, geofenced areas and alarms can be created to notify the manager of key events, such as whenever a vehicle enters a congestion charging zone.
